Fabrizio is known around encompus as “Mr. Details” because he is always striving to make things look and function at their peak. Fabrizio is on a constant quest for the best of the best and doesn’t stop until he is absolutely satisfied. Coming from a family of interior designers, Fabrizio is passionate about many things, but most of all design. Fabrizio is a native of Rome and studied Design and Mass Media Communications at Universita La Sapienza in Rome before moving to San Diego in 1996 and attending the Art Institute of California. Not only does Fabrizio have an innovative design philosophy extending from his background in brand awareness, corporate identity, marketing campaigns, web design and advertising - he also gives great restaurant recommendations. From graphic designer to art director to creative director, Fabrizio provides over a decade of unique creative skills coupled with a global perspective on life.
Marc Hedges : Art Director and Southern Gentleman
Marc received his degree in Graphic Design from the renowned Ringling School Of Art & Design in Sarasota, Florida. Known for his disarming personal style and southern charm, Marc has won many a heart from coast to coast. Marc’s belief in truth and fairness provide him unrivaled project management skills. These skills have accompanied each of his award-winning design works, allowing him placement in numerous publications including: How Magazine, Global Corporate Identity 2, The Big Book of Logos 3, and Create Magazine. Marc’s growing list of awards ranges from the AIGA Las Vegas and Summit Creative. His humor comes from hours of Cartoon Network, Comedy Central, and Dirty Jobs, but his creative expertise and leadership skills come from the heart.
Marc Aguilera : Color Management Director and Eclectic Technologist
Marc received degrees in Visual Arts and Archeology from University of California San Diego, which means he really digs art. He is an award-winning photographer and enjoys the finer aspects of social networking. Marc loves to talk color, music, the great mysteries, and culture. Marc is an Apple Certified Color Management Professional and Trainer and X-Rite Color Expert. Over the past two decades, Marc has traveled the world, excavated the deserts of Israel, co-founded a business, fathered a child, won a national photo contest, and turned his hair grey in the process. But don’t let the lack of color fool you. At encompus and abroad, Marc is the color guru. He invokes his knowledge about color into the real world every day. Marc works with large companies such as HP and Nissan Design and small companies like Nick Nacca Photography and Harvest Productions all with the same goal: implement sound color-managed technology.
Jacinda Buchanan : Project Manager and Plate Juggler
In a career that spans account services, traffic, proofing, production management and print buying, Jacinda is encompus’ operational hub. An administrative machine, Jacinda organizes and energizes the way we work by keeping the encompus team grounded throughout the creative process. Jacinda’s degree is in French from Louisiana State University where she also studied art and graphic design.
Aaron Serafino : Color Specialist and Photographic Prognosticator
With an acute attention to visual detail, Aaron Serafino’s extensive knowledge of the aesthetic and technical aspects of printed media help bring design concepts to life. A graduate of Brooks Institute of Photography as a Color Technology Specialist, Aaron has more than 20 years experience in the media arts. His expertise includes numerous analog photographic processes as well as utilization of the latest digital capture devices and techniques. Whether producing promotional materials for display, advertising, or fine art, Aaron’s focus in everything he does is accurate photographic reproduction from capture to screen to print. When he’s not working at encompus, Aaron can be found teaching photography at local colleges or spending time at the beach with his wife and two sons.
Brandon Lavigne : Web Producer and Virtual Landscaper
Old school meets new school in Brandon Lavigne. Brandon is a New Media Designer specializing in Flash applications with Actionscripting and PHP/MYSQL. Brandon graduated from the Art Institute of California with a BS in Interactive Media Design and a drive to put it to good use. With skills that include video editing and compression, web scripting, and exceptional producing and programming talent Brandon is all that epitomizes new school. Ask him what the future looks like and he’ll tell you, “It’s all mobile—and the limitless possibilities of new media will take us there.”
